Oat Waffles
A favourite with many children and adults we work with. Soaking the oats overnight, reduces the anti nutrients in the oats. Please do not skip this step! Serve with sausages and veggies or coconut yoghurt and berries!

Equipment
- 1 Waffle Maker
- 1 Blender
- 1 Container
Ingredients
- 1.5 Cups Organic Oats
- .5 Cup Dairy Free Milk
- 5 Eggs or Flax Eggs If using flax eggs- 10 tablespoons water + 4 tablespoons ground flax seeds – mix and leave to thicken for 5 minutes
- .5 Cup Apple or Pear Sauce
- 1 tbsp Vanilla
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 Beetroot If you want to make them pink, blend with the mix
- 1 Cup Greens If you want to make them green, blend with the mix
Instructions
- Pour oats into your blender – blend oats until they are a fine flour
- Add the other ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth
- Pour into an airtight container and leave in the fridge overnight to soak
- The next morning remove the batter from the fridge around 30 minutes before you want to use it
- Heat your waffle maker
- Pour batter into a waffle maker and cook until crispy
