Ingredients:

  • You will need something as a base to prop it up – I used half a pineapple
  • Something long to stick cocktail sticks into like a carrot
  • 1 long bamboo skewer
  • Several cocktail sticks
  • Desired fruit;
  • I used 6 kiwis cut into quarters
  • 2 mangoes cubed
  • 1 canteloupe melon -skin removed and cut into cubes

Other things you will need;

  • A large plate
  • A star cookie cutter for the star on the top of the tree!

Method:

  • Take a pineapple and remove the skin
  • Cut it in half – trim the bottom so that it sits sturdy
  • Insert the large bamboo skewer into the carrot all the way through
  • Then stick this into the pineapple vertically
  • Randomly insert cocktail sticks all over the carrot
  • Then stick a piece of fruit on each cocktail stick
  • Stick your pineapple star on top!
