Allergy free Christmas Jelly sweets
INGREDIENTS:
- 3 cups of apple
- Juice from two oranges
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 2 tablespoons honey (optional)
- 5 tablespoons of grass fed gelatin
Other things you will need;
- Gingerbread silicone mould
- Pipette – or you could use a spoon – pipette is easier for children
METHOD;
1. Place gelatin in saucepan (no heat) and cover with one cup of the apple juice (this will allow it to thicken)
2. Once it looks like it has ‘bloomed’ (Looks thick and white) you can add the rest of the juice and ginger
3. Melt the gelatin by stirring on a low heat until it is completely dissolved
4. Add in honey and stir
5. Take the mixture off the heat and leave it to cool slightly before pouring/pipetting mixture into your favourite mould
6. Refrigerate for 1 hour until set
